Dear Reader,

It's been a rough week at mystic domestica HQ. I'm neither ready nor able to talk about it--something happened in DK's family--but I will say that even under these circumstances, I so admire the K. clan, both immediate and extended. Relatives are swooping into New York from Virginia and Georgia and Maine, and even though I'm just an observer in these events, I'm comforted and touched.

I'll be back soon, and in better spirits, I promise. In the meantime, I will be cliché and transparent in suggesting that you tell the people you love how much you do.
