Tyger! Tyger!

I'm more than a little embarrassed to come slinking back into blogland after such a long silence with nothing more than a "gosh, how time flies," but the feeble truth is--it does. I've been keeping busy (and stressed out) (and incrementally fattened) (too much lunch take-out) by my still-feels-new job, with nary but an eBay bid here and there to keep me sane.

Speaking of which, let's just dive right into my last adventure in online bidding, shall we?

Exhibit A: a Matt Leines silkscreen I picked up at Brooklyn's Desert Island two years ago; also, one of my favorite bits of printed matter.

Exhibit B: a holy-moly uncanny/awesome papier-mâché tiger mask I won on eBay a few weeks ago; also, my current reigning favorite possession.

Pure aesthetic serendipity, right?

I'm trying to figure out the best way to display them together, but I honestly think I need a third tiger item to complete the visual theme. I've been pining after a Himalayan woven tiger rug (see here, here, or here) for ages, but I haven't quite saved enough pennies...
