From Madrid

One day I will get my travel photos all sorted and posted.

That will probably be the same day that I get my boots resoled, frame those last two posters, find the right backing for my loose drawer knob, strip our office desk, and patch my quilts... i.e., never.

In the meantime, this was the view from our hotel room in Madrid:

Yeah, seriously.

To be fair, the room was so tiny, we could barely fit our carry-on luggage into it, I banged my elbow every single time I showered, and--best of all--their "double bed" was actually two twin beds pushed together. But that was the view. Looking back, it was almost worth it.

  3. Your description of the hotel room's insides sounds like something you'd find in N-D-UH (India) on the cheap! The exterior looks a bit different, though. :-)

  4. That's the downside of Europe. Cute hostels on the outside, but the inside is rarely as nice.
